PARTICIPATING BREWERIES
Three Forks Brewing Co.
Three Forks Bakery & Brewing Co is a friendly, small-town restaurant where visitors and locals come for delicious, homemade food made from the highest quality, local, and organic ingredients. Their well-balanced and tasty beer is brewed on site. Nevada County has an abundance of farms run by talented people, so if they can get an ingredient from here, they do. What they can’t get locally, they get regionally. At Three Forks, their mission is to brew delicious, well balanced beers.
ol’ Republic Brewery
ol’ Republic Brewery opened its doors in February 2012 in the historic mining town of Nevada City, a town made famous by the 1849 Gold Rush. Brewers Jim Harte and Simon Olney have always been fascinated with old-world beer styles. In addition to classic European lagers and robust ales from the British Isles, the brewery features American beer styles that date back to the mid-19th century. Inspired by these world-renowned styles, they handcraft lagers like a Dortmunder Export, a Helles and their version of a California Common. Their ales include an English-style IPA, a Celtic Red and the blackest Export Stout you will ever encounter.
Lagunitas Brewing Co.
From points distant and beyond we all converged on Petaluma in 1993 and ’94 with an unenunciated desire to be more than we were before. The core of Lagunitas came from Chicago, St Louis, Memphis, Walker Creek, and the highlands of Quincy. The Lagunitas Brewing Co. was not so much an act of ordinary ‘foundling’ as it was willed into being by the unspoken desire of supportive beer-lovers in Northern California after which they continued to nurture their creation and urged us forward to fulfill the unifying needs of that same beer-loving diaspora from coast to coast and beyond.
Sierra Nevada Brewing Co.
Inspired by the nearby Sierra Nevada Mountains, our beers are designed to be as bold, wild and unwavering as those storied granite peaks. With respect to tradition and an unbridled passion for innovation, Sierra Nevada beers are inspired by the philosophy that anything is possible. We are committed to pushing the boundaries of craft beer and we look forward to the day that flavorful beers are the standard throughout the world.
Lost Coast Brewery
Since its humble beginning in 1990, the brewery has outgrown the original facilities in the Pythian Castle and moved production to a larger site down the street. After a record breaking year in 2005, producing over 24,000 barrels, Lost Coast Brewery had expectations of breaking the 30,000-barrel mark. In 2009, it broke that record producing over 50,000 barrels making Lost Coast Brewery the 33rd largest brewery in the United States. Lost Coast Brewery distributes its fine ales in 22 states, in Puerto Rico, and in three Canadian Provinces! Lost Coast Brewery has plans to move to a new location where it can barrel to greater heights!
New Belgium Brewing Company
1989. Belgium. Boy on bike. (Ok, make that a young man of 32.) As our aspiring young homebrewer rides his mountain bike with “fat tires” through European villages famous for beer, New Belgium Brewing Company was but a glimmer in his eye. Or basement. For Jeff Lebesch would return to Fort Collins with an imagination full of recipes and a handful of ingredients ready to embark on a whole new journey. And then there was beer. Jeff’s first two basement-brewed creations? A brown dubbel with earthy undertones named Abbey and a remarkably well-balanced amber he named Fat Tire.
New Helvetia Brewing Co.
Originally established in 1890, the Buffalo Brewing Company was started by Herman Grau based on the successful breweries of Buffalo, New York. An ambitious brewery from the beginning, Buffalo became among the largest beer operations west of the Mississippi, with distribution throughout California, Nevada, Hawaii, parts of Asia and Central America. At New Helvetia, they make beer in a unique way. They are a collection of tinkerers, mechanics, hot-rodders and experimenters, and their brewery reflects that. It is simultaneously true to the ancient heritage of the process, yet also steeped in modernity. And just a little bit quirky, to accommodate their historic building and individual flair.
Auburn Alehouse
When the Auburn Alehouse started producing craft beer in 2007, it renewed a long beer-making tradition in Auburn, though the last brewing company in the city went out of business more than a century ago. Brian and Lisa Ford knew they were creating something very special with their craft beer pub in historic Old Town Auburn, and they sought to develop a menu that was as unique as their landmark building.
